Terms and Conditions

By submitting this form you agree to the following terms and conditions: You agree to Opotiki District Council (ODC) sending rates invoices for the property to the email address/addresses provided by you. Up to two email addresses can be registered for a property. You warrant that you are a current owner of the property and that you are entitled to receive rates invoices for the property. The email service will start when your next rates instalment is due but we'll send you a confirmation within 10 days to verify your details. It is your responsibility to notify us if your email address/addresses change. You agree to inform ODC of any changes to your email address/addresses or other details. ODC does not accept responsibility for rates invoices that cannot be delivered because of an invalid email address or an error in transmission. However if your email address bounces the authorisation will be cancelled and we will post a copy of the invoice to the last known postal address of the current owners. Email authorisation may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the Council. This authorisation only covers rates invoice notices. Other Council correspondence will continue to be sent to your postal address. You acknowledge that nothing in these terms affects your liability as a ratepayer to pay rates under the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002. Information in this form is being collected by ODC. ODC will use this information to send you rates invoices. You have the right to access and correct personal information that ODC holds about you by contacting ODC. You also understand that ODC does not send reminder emails.
